Description | TerraPay
Global/Group Compliance is responsible for ensuring compliance with anti-money
laundering (“AML”), Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, EU and sanctions
regulations for the global operations. Additionally, AML oversees key
processes and risks of the KYC department as well as global Compliance
Program, Regulatory and Procedural requirements. TerraPay
requires a Sanction Screening & Monitoring Compliance Analyst within the Global Sanctions and Monitoring Program team. Individual responsible for ensuring
compliance with OFAC, E.U., and other applicable sanctions programs
throughout TerraPay. This includes reviewing alerts on transactions (second
level review) and static data (first level review) for potential matches to
the OFAC, E.U., and any other applicable lists and investigating potential
matches, reporting blocked property or rejected transactions to OFAC,
investigating and drafting Voluntary Self-Disclosures to OFAC, providing
sanctions-related advisory support to TerraPay business units, reviewing the
Sanctions Risk Assessment, and coordinating with the Sanction Screening &
Monitoring Compliance Manager or Global Head of Compliance, as appropriate. The incumbent will also be responsible for
TerraPay Partner and Customer Monitoring program and applicable reporting
tasks. The incumbent will be tasked with proposing corrective action measures
to mitigate any risks identified throughout the execution of Compliance tasks
as well as update of the relevant risk matrix. |

Responsibilities | · Good
understanding of the rules and regulations in the UK. Mauritius, and other
FATF level rules/ countries TerraPay operate in · Manage
the day-to-day operations of the Sanctions Screening & Monitoring Compliance
program for TerraPay’s Global Compliance operations by working in
collaboration with the Global Compliance team and business operations the

and recommendations and translate these into deliverables · Monitor and investigate the Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring
queues and make appropriate decisions. · Monitor the emails received from Partner compliance and the
business for queries related to compliance blocks which is required to
actioned immediately · Be vigilant to identify red flags and escalate the same. · Liaise with the partner compliance teams to raise queries where
additional information is required · Conducting
new and ongoing due diligence, monitoring and risk assessments of our
accounts and partners in accordance with the Risk Based Approach · Responsible
for updating and maintenance of all related TerraPay Sanction Screening and
Monitoring & Reporting Program document management. · Co-ordinate
with the Regional Compliance Manager for investigation, oversight and activities
across the business and identify any potential areas of compliance
vulnerability and risk · Be proactive and drive
thought by undertaking ongoing training and contributing during meetings and
huddles · Build
on the existing Sanction Screening and Monitoring & Reporting Program and escalate any potential risks identified in a timely manner |
