Job Summary:

Shakti Legal Compliance India (SLCI) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements, including the Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages, ESIC, PF, Muster Roll, Workmen Compensation, Licensing & Returns, and other relevant laws. Excellent client-handling skills and the ability to ensure regulatory adherence at a PAN India level are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance Review:
  • Plan and execute compliance reviews as per the Compliance Review Calendar to ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
  1. Statutory & Compliance Reconciliation:
  • Maintain monthly reconciliations of statutory data, ensuring accurate records for audits and reporting.
  1. Notice Management:
  • Handle timely closure of notices related to ESIC, PF, and other labor laws. Provide strategic advice to management on compliance matters.
  1. Audit Preparation:
  • Maintain and organize compliance-related data for internal and external audits on a monthly basis.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as the Minimum Wages Act, Shop & Establishment Act, Factory Act, Maternity Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Equal Remuneration Act, LWF, and other applicable laws.
  • Submit annual, half-yearly, and other mandatory returns to the relevant authorities.
  1. Salary Compliance:
  • Verify salary calculations to ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
  1. Client Handling:
  • Address and resolve client queries related to labor law compliance, providing tailored and effective solutions.


Requirements:

o  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Law, or Human Resources preferred).

o  Minimum 2-5 years of experience in labor law compliance and statutory audits.


Skills & Knowledge:

  1. Labor Law Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of the Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages Act, ESIC, PF, Workmen Compensation, and other statutory regulations.
  1. Client Management:
  • Proven experience handling client queries and providing effective compliance solutions.
  1. Audit Experience:
  • Familiarity with conducting compliance audits and preparing audit-ready documentation.
  1. Customer-Oriented Approach:
  • Focus on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  1. Organizational Skills:
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities and clients.
