Job Purpose
The prospective candidate shall handle work related to:
• RBI Inspections (Department of Supervision, DPSS, CSITE and Regulatory studies)
• Liaising with RBI, Internal and Group level stakeholders.
• Update KYC policy and handling of KYC/ AML references
• Assist in Internal Risk Assessment, Annual Review of Compliance, Inter-Regulatory Forum
• Prepare Notes to the Board/ ACB/ RMC
• Submission of Ad-hoc Regulatory Reportings
• Participation in Company/ Group level projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure the relevant legal and regulatory requirements are well understood and are reflected in the relevant documentation and internal procedures and processes.
• Liaison with the RBI, Internal and Group level stakeholders.
• Regulatory reporting e.g. FD related, Branch intimations, guidance/ clarifications, etc.
• Handling Regulatory queries and ad-hoc submissions through DAKSH and email.
• Supporting in Regulatory Inspection and related activities.
• Identify lapses in business and operation functions of BFL for compliance related issues.
• Prepare the Notes to the Board/ ACB/ RMC at periodically and as and when required.
• Participation in organization/ group projects.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
• Provide guidance/ clarifications to various functions on regulatory matters.
• Vetting of documents/ products/ policies from regulatory aspect received from various stakeholders.
Major Challenges
1. Work in demanding environment and provide solutions within the scope of regulatory/ statutory guidelines.
2. Consistently perform and deliver in business centric and high growth environment in a timely manner.
3. Identify and assess Compliance risks in various businesses and their mitigation measures including checks.
Required Qualifications and Experience
a) Skills:
• Should have worked for reputed Banks/Financial Institutions with diverse fields of business interests.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in handling Regulatory/ Statutory Compliances related issues.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines.
• Should be a self-starter and a team player.
b) Qualifications:
• Graduate / Post-graduate / CA / Professional qualification
a) Work Experience
• For Senior Lead - 12 to 14 years PQE (relevant Banking and Financial industry PQE of 6 years).
• For Lead- 8 to 10 years PQE (relevant Banking and Financial industry PQE of 4 years).
