Job Title: Manager - Transfer Pricing & Tax Compliance EUR

Location: Bangalore                      

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Tax (Technology, Compliance and Data)

Purpose of the Role

AB InBev Tax Europe is enhancing its capabilities by expanding the Transfer Pricing & Tax Compliance Lead function within our Global Business Services (GBS) center in Bangalore. This strategic role blends people leadership with technical expertise, overseeing a team responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance across Europe, as well as the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and operational TP models.

As Transfer Pricing & Tax Compliance Manager EUR, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the European tax compliance agenda. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax (Technology, Compliance and Data), you will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings & documentation and payments across all relevant jurisdictions. This includes managing statutory reporting, audit support, internal controls and supporting stakeholders.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

1) Tax Compliance & Transfer Pricing responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation to support intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and OECD guidelines across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Analyze intercompany transactions to determine arm’s length pricing using appropriate transfer pricing methods and economic analyses.
  • Support the Transfer Pricing team in maintaining consistency and control over TP processes and policies across the organization.
  • Monitor intercompany pricing policies throughout the fiscal year and collaborate with the TP lead to assess and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Extract, analyze, and summarize financial data from ERP systems (SAP) and consolidation tools (e.g., Cognos) to support TP documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain and manage transfer pricing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of intercompany agreements as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (e.g., VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Excise Duties, Customs Duties, Ecotaxes, etc.).
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance calendar to meet all filing and payment deadlines.
  • Oversee tax accounting processes, including tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations.
  • Reconcile tax accounts, including tax GL balances, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the GBS Bangalore Tax team to achieve shared goals and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2) GBS Bangalore Tax team lead

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or an equivalent tax qualification (preferred)

Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in tax compliance, ideally within a multinational corporation or a Big Four accounting firm
  • In-depth knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations
  • Practical experience with tax filing systems, ERP platforms, and tax technology tools

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of local and international tax frameworks (e.g., OECD guidelines, EU VAT Directives)
  • Proficiency in Excel, tax engines, and reporting solutions
  • Familiarity with tax provisioning tools and related processes
  • Experience managing external advisors and handling tax audits

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
